Privacy Policy (Updated July 7, 2014)

InquiSoft, the operator of GraphFree, is committed to treating your information responsibly. Please take a moment to read our policy and learn how we use any information we may collect at this site. By using the site, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy.

Respecting Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or maintain any information from children under the age of thirteen, nor do we target the GraphFree website to children under the age of thirteen.

Contact by E-mail

If you send us a message through e-mail, we will use that e-mail address to communicate with you as appropriate based on the nature of your message. We will not sell or rent your e-mail address to anybody else.

Log Files

Like most websites, GraphFree uses log files that collect anonymous statistics about the visits to our website so that we can administer and promote the site more effectively. Examples of tracked statistics include, among others, the number of visitors to our page, which web pages referred those visitors, and the types of browsers our visitors are using. These log files do not contain any personally identifying information such as names or e-mail addresses.

Social Media and AddThis

GraphFree uses the AddThis widget to allow users to share about the GraphFree website with their social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and others. Information that users choose to transmit to those social networks is handled in accordance with the privacy practices of those sites, which are not under the control of InquiSoft. We may use postings to social media for promotional purposes as allowed and facilitated by these social media outlets; for example, if you tweet about GraphFree, we may use a widget to display that tweet on our website.

Besides facilitating posts to social media, AddThis uses cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites. The information collected by AddThis is anonymous; it does not include personally identifiable information such as your name or e-mail address. AddThis uses this information to help advertisers provide ads that are more consistent with your interests. For more information on the policies of AddThis, including how to prevent AddThis from using information about you for ad targeting purposes, see the AddThis privacy policy. You may also learn more about this behavioral advertising practice from the Network Advertising Initiative.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. The purpose of Google Analytics is to provide more detailed statistical information about the use of our website than the log files alone can provide. Examples of information provided by the Google Analytics web site include the number of visitors to the GraphFree website, the actions that visitors take while on the site, how long they stay on the website, and which links are leading visitors to our website. Like the AddThis widget, Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. Also like the AddThis data collection, the data collected does not contain personally identifying information such as your name or e-mail address. For more information on how Google uses the data it collects, see Google’s privacy policy.

The Amazon.com Affiliate Program

GraphFree is a participant in the Amazon.com affiliate program (pending approval from Amazon.com). As a part of this program, Amazon.com will serve advertisements to the GraphFree website. Amazon may also collect information about visitors to the GraphFree website by placing and/or recognizing cookies on users’ browsers. They may also collect information directly from you, if you follow the links to Amazon.com, place items in your shopping cart, etc. Information collected by Amazon.com is handled in accordance with Amazon’s own privacy policy.

Law Enforcement and Protection of Our Rights

InquiSoft may disclose or collect information as needed in the course of proceedings to protect our intellectual property or other rights, to protect our website from a security breach, or at the request of government regulators or other law enforcement officials and the courts (including the issuance of a valid subpoena).

Changes to this Policy

These privacy practices may be changed, but any changes will be posted, and changes will apply to activities and information collected on only a going forward, not a retroactive basis. You are encouraged to review this privacy policy regularly.
